Healthcare and Wellness

  • Dental Assistingbecome the dentist’s second pair of hands by learning the skills and knowledge needed to become a qualified dental assistant. You can learn both clinical and administrative skills that are valued in a dental office such as cleaning tools; assisting the dentist during exams; taking x-rays, and keeping patient records up-to-date. This program includes an externship in a dental office.
  • Medical Assisting – as a crucial member of the healthcare team, you can embark on an exciting career in the healthcare field when you train to become a Medical Assistant. You can learn how to manage medical records, take the patient’s vitals, draw blood, and prepare your patients to see the doctor. This program includes an externship in a medical office.
  • Massage Therapyif you enjoy helping people and using your hands, this program can give you the skills you need to become a Massage Therapist. You can learn how to use touch to manipulate the soft-tissue of the body, helping people find relief from pain, discomfort, stress, improve circulation, and increase relaxation. A massage therapist uses their hands, fingers, elbows, and sometimes feet to massage their patient. The use of lotions, oils, heat lamps and other technology is often included in the massage session to help ease muscles and help with relaxation. This program includes an externship.
