Dental Assistant - Platt’s Dental Assistant program is designed to give students a full understanding of the clerical and clinical skills of a dental assistant. Throughout the curriculum, industry-experienced professors will educate students on techniques required to be successful in the field, including processing X-rays, assisting the dentist during examinations, maintaining proper bedside manner, and more. Upon graduation, students will be ready to enter the field of dentistry with confidence.
Massage Therapy - Through the instruction of a variety of skills, techniques, and methods, Platt’s unique Massage Therapy program is designed to teach students the art of massage therapy. Experienced massage therapists instruct students in a hands-on environment on topics such as the science of massage, client/patient interaction, and administrative responsibilities. If you are interested in a career that allows you to use your hands in a creative way as well as help others stay healthy, our Massage Therapy program might be for you.
Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy - In this program, students will learn the fundamental skills to be an important member of a medical team as a medical assistant and/or phlebotomist. Through classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory experience, and an externship requirement, students will learn from industry professionals the necessary skills that employers seek in qualified job candidates.
Practical Nursing - Our practical nursing program is specifically designed for students who want to get their nursing degree more quickly than any other traditional degree program. Throughout our curriculum, students will learn the skills necessary for working within a medical team to provide proper patient care while applying their theoretical knowledge and skills. Through classroom instruction and clinical rotations, students will graduate with the real-life experience necessary to work in various positions as a practical nurse. Graduates will also be eligible to sit for the NCLEX exam.
